AGARTALA, Oct 28 ( TIWN ) : Former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury who's a victim of BJP Govt's political revenge, during his self Concealment period he got critically ill out of extreme mental torture. And he got admitted in ILS Hospital by himself. In this situation police arrested him by taking his thumb impression on hospital bed as he was not in his sense to even sign. This inhuman act by BJP Govt is not only brutal but against law also, as claimed by various Advocates.
Advocate Bhaskar Debbarma said, " In 2008-2009 several developmental works were done by Manik's Govt. But after Deb's Govt came in power in 2018, they are trying to file false cases regarding those works by suppressing the development for revenge. "
He also mentioned, " The way they have arrested former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury was completely illegal and against law of democracy. It seems like there is no law in BJP's era. The day they have arrested him by taking his thumb impression, he was in Hospital bed and was not in sense. And this is totally against constitution. "
He further said, " Chowdhury's health is deteriorating constantly for the mental pressure by Biplab's officials. They make two constables sit beside is bed in his cabin, allowing no one to meet him, treating him like he's a ferocious Criminal while he is an old man of 70, fighting with death. Doctors are saying anykind of pressure can make his condition more critical. "
It is to mention that CM Biplab Deb while inaugurating Diwali Mela at Matabari, said that MLA Badal Chowdhury 's sickness is nothing but to the escape of investigation, where the Govt doctors who went to investigate him said his condition is really critical. This mentally of Deb indicates how a political person's ego can cause lack of minimum humanity.
