Amid no arrest warrant, Advocate General says, ‘Badal Choudhury was Roaming-Absconding’

AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): Amid Badal Choudhury has undergone heartattack, Advocate General Arun Bhowmik said that once Badal Choudhury is discharged then he will be produced before the Special Court as Court.

He said, it was only ILS Doctors claimed about heartattacks.

Not only this, Bhowmik also accused Badal Choudhury saying "He was roaming absconding" since October 16, whereas Badal Choudhury's advocates earlier stated "absconding" word comes when arrest warrant is issued.

Attorney General Arun Bhowmik said if Badal Choudhury is discharged by ILS hospital, then he will be produced before the Special Court and Govt side will seek Police remand for him. Bhowmik further referred, former CE Sunil Bhowmik is too in police remand for 9 days and both are accused of same crime. But legal sides say, there is no connection between ground of these cases of Badal Choudhury and Sunil Bhowmik.
