AGARTALA, Oct 21 (TIWN): While addressing in a political rally, former CM Manik Sarkar has slammed the Biplab Deb led Govt for playing like ‘cats play with dead rats’ with the IAS, IPS Officers.

Sarkar said, “The Govt after losing trust on self about mass support now acting against everyone. On the one side, there are Govt officials and on the other side, there are common men who are victimized in this game”.

“Chief Minister Biplab Deb is playing with the IAS, IPS officers like cats play with dead rats”, said Sarkar.

“What is happening ? How the whole dept including Chief Secretary also involved in that game ?That much of pride of power ? Not only autocracy. It has crossed all levels of autocracy”, he said.

Mentioning about ESMA Bill, Sarkar said this is the cause why ESMA bill was introduced so that if anybody doesn’t listen to the Govt, just to put him/ her in jail and also to rusticate from the job.
