AGARTALA, Oct 19 (TIWN): Amid top Police Officers sought justice for suspended colleagues instead of removing issued punishments just because opposition MLA Badal Choudhury could not be traced in a total politically motivated case, the BJP Govt has continued suspension of more police officials. When whole state is mocking at the Govt’s immature behavious with own staffs, resentments among the police forces spiked up as even today one more high officials was suspended named Banuj Biplab Deb Dy SP (HQ), TPS. In a notification issued by Animesh Das, Deputy Secretary of the Govt notified the suspension with “immediate effect”. The notification No-F 35(24)-GA(P&T)/12 Govt of Tripura, says, “The competent authority in exercise of power conferred by subrule (1) of Rule-10 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules-1965 hereby places the said Banuj Biplab Das, TPS Grade-II Dy SP (DIB) West under suspension with immediate effect”.

At the same time, Tripura Home Dept led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues displaying intolerance after CPI-M MLA Badal Choudhury could not be traced by police. Reportedly, Badal Choudhury was searched inside wardrobes, under the bed, toilet house to house in areas of Agartala on yesterday.

On the other side, top ten police officers of the state-all belonging to IPS cadre service-led by DGP Akhil Kumar Shukla met in deputation with chief minister Biplab Deb on October 17 night in the state secretariat to urge upon him to revoke the punitive measures against junior colleagues for alleged failure to nab deputy leader of the opposition and former PWD minister Badal Chowdhury even after rejection of his anticipatory bail.

The team of police officers explained to the chief minister that suspended SP (West) Ajit Pratap Singh and DIG Arindam Nath who was divested of all responsibilities had bright track-record in police service and the latter had even been conferred President's police medal .

The Govt however, since the beginning carried negative attitude to the Govt officials and stated that Govt employees mean burden. Where Education Minister Ratanlal Nath was seen multiple times insulting teachers, professors, including principals openly, CM also suspended many officials on camera, which although at the beginning received media limelights, later caused distresses. Uncountable contractual employees are undergoing suspension under this Govt.
