AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): After the launch of RPL program under PMKVY skill development training under SAMARTH Scheme Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said that during the last 25 years of the previous government, the people of the state were intentionally restrained so that they could not dream big for themselves and for the State. But the new government is giving utmost importance to personality development so that youth can live with self-esteem and dignity and to dream big. A selfish group of people is spreading in their personal interest that India's economy is going through a difficult situation and recession. Prime Minister Modi ji knows how to handle this situation and that is why he has reduced the commercial tax, which will bring in huge foreign investment and create employment opportunities.

India has started it's new voyage of development recently by 2018 onwards and it is assumed to be completed by 2055.These years will take India to the highest economic growth amongst the other countries of world. As China withdrew itself from the American markets hence it requires markets for investment and India is only one for this purpose. This is going to create international markets and employment for India. He said it is assumed that this foreign investment will surplus 7-8 lakh crores into the indian market. The low corporate tax will increase economic growth day by day.

He urged people not to keep the money stagnant in their accounts in banks to avoid the normal transactions of the small scale industries and their growth. He said money should be in rotating way to surplus market.

There are many people who are not skilled and selective who have multiple skills. That is State government brought skill development training for 20,000 BPL public by launching Samarth,  Rojgar and RPL schemes. Even if the qualification is low, these training will help them support their living and get employment. He said large sum of money is draining out of the state in various sectors like fishery, poultry, dairy, rice, food processing or logistic and infrastructure development as we do not have adequate skilled personnels and have to depend on labours who come from outside and thus the money moves out of our state. Hence this government is giving importance and priority to skill development in all these sectors so that our youths can not only get employed and also be employment creator along with adding to the state's economy. Moreover, in coming days when investment in the form of industries are being setup in the state then these industries need not bring skilled labours from outside like earlier rather our youths who will get various trainings through skill development in these identified sectors and will get employment here.India's economic growth has just started in 2018 and in the middle of this century it will be India's.

Skill Development is the effort of Shri Narendra Modi ji government, to make the Indian workers skilled and upto the mark in the competitive global market. Tripura government is also following the path of PM Modi of making its youths competitive through making them better skilled through skill development and around 20,000 youths of the state are very soon to get trained in various sectors so that they are employable. Today skill development is very vital for getting employment be it food processing, fishery or tourism and in which Tripura has huge scope and so we are emphasising on them but the most important for the youths of Tripura is personality development.

While concluding his speech he said we need to be skilled up and trained for the best production provider state in the country. He said this government is going to give all possible assistance for full fledged development of the state. He said to get skilled in areas of food processing, rubber production, spice factory, rice meal plan etc to become leading states.

Apart from CM, Chief Secretary Y. Venketaswarlu, Principal Secretary of Industry and Skill development and others were also present.
