AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): In one more slap on illegal attacks of BJP Govt on the opposition leaders as District Court has given bail to CPI-M’s leader Narayan Kar on the very day of his arrest.

After the hearing was completed, addressing media, Advocate Sankar Lodh said, “The allegation brought against Narayan Kar was, he didn’t allow Badal Choudhury’s bodyguard to enter in the Melarmath party office on 15th October. The FIR was lodged at 9 am today morning whereas the issue was of 15th October. We raised question, why the FIR was too late to be filed ? We also asked, on 15th October Badal Choudhury was in interim bail. So how there can be any issue like this that Badal Choudhury needs to be interrogated ?”
