AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar has condemned removal of two police officers today in Tripura in politically motivated move against the administration.

The statement came from the Editor after DIG Arindam Nath was removed from his post and SP West Ajit Pratap Singh was suspended. Report said, I/O Raju Reang was also replaced by police officer Ajay Kumar Das.

The Editor said, “Tripura BJP Govt’s kneejerk reaction on suspending one IPS officer and removal of another highly reputed police officer DIG Arindam Nath suddenly form high posts just because they could not satisfy BJP’s political leaders’ whims and fancies, is solely focused on political revenge on opposition CPI-M without following legal procedure”

Sarkar mentioned, “Across the India insults on IAS, IPS Officials have drastically spiked up 10 fold during BJP era and before BJP era also these officers were regularly targeted whenever politicians targets are not fulfilled. Today also arrogance of ruling Govt fell up those highly educated officials”.

Since yesterday after SP West Ajit Pratap Singh, DIG Arindam Nath spend their whole night after receiving order from CM to arrest opposition tall political leader Badal Choudhury by hook and crook. All police officers including DGP A K Sukla roamed whole night only to fulfill revengeful masters wishes.

“In Indian democracy, civil servants specially IAS, IPS and other Civil Service officials are supposed to serve nation as per the constitution, but various criminals like Pratima Bhowmik, MLA Ram Prasad, Krishnadhan Das who raised up via political ladder the whole administration is polluted. State has witnessed how on April 12, 2019 Pratima Bhowmik was threatening IPS Officer Kiran Kumar to kill him on spot, but no action could be taken against her”, the Editor said.

TIWN Editor repeatedly condemned Tripura govt’s Dictator style dealings of govt officials. The Editor also added Govt officials should be kept out of political revenge games and said, only Judicial system can save the common men of Tripura from these draconic attack on democracy from the Saddam-govt.
