AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): After Political revenge game failed as former Minister Badal Chowdhury is untraceable in spite of thousands of Police, TSR, Central Forces including State DGP combed Tripura since last night. So out of anger, Tripura’s ‘Saddam Hussein’ ordered immediate punishment by removal of SP West Ajit Pratap Singh, DIG Arindam Nath from their Posts. Instead corrupt OSD Dilip Roy’s relative Manik Lal Das, a well known lameduck bootlicker is now installed as new SP West. Inspite of 2 days sleepless nights, when police trying at their best to work according to the Govt’s instruction and still in duty after no sleep on yesterday whole night, Saddam era’s mockery of democracy and brutality on police officials continue. Whole Police administration including DGP to other officials are venting their frustrations in private as it has become very difficult to work under a ‘Saddam Hussein’ type dictator whose whims & fancies for political revenge turned Police Administration a puppet.

As CPI-M MLA Badal Choudhury could not be arrested yet, DIG Arindam Nath has  been removed from his post, whereas SP West Ajit Pratap Singh was replaced by Manik Lal Das. This action came after nighlong searches also police could not arrest CPI-M MLA Badal Choudhury whose bail bond was rejected by West District Court on yesterday 11.45 PM. Whole night, DGP A K Sukla led massive police force were in search of Badal Choudhury who raided Melarmath party office twice and 4 more major places till night 3 am.

Today also day-long searches are going on to spot Badal Choudhury, but no success yet.

Already, CPI-M has filed in the High Court for anticipatory bail but frustrated State Govt in a brutal move have taken action against these police officials.

Sources informed more actions may be taken against more police officers.

SP West Ajit Pratap Singh worked whole night and also Arindam Nath was also was seen during the raid throughout the  night.

Without sleep for 48 hours the police officers are working day night to find out Badal Choudhury but the same police officers were suspended which has shocked the State Police.

This news is already viral in local television channels.

At the same time CPI-M’s another top leader Nayaran Kar was arrested today morning under Section 353, 212, 120, when police continued search for former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury. The case was registered with case no-269/19.It has been alleged that Narayan Kar stopped Badal Choudhury’s bodyguard to enter the CPI-M party office in Melarmath. Nayaran Kar was taken by police in latenight and after interrogation arrested him.Police appealed for his 7 days police remand.

The action came in search of Badal Choudhury who has appealed in the High Court demanding anticipatory bail which was rejected by the District court on yesterday.

CPI-M alleged, there is no ground of FIR against Badal Choudhury. This is fully politically motivated case.

On yesterday, after whole day long wait, finally West District Court at midnight has rejected former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury’s anticipatory bail plea.

Police raided at least 5 major places to find out Badal Choudhury which still continues.

FIR was lodged against Tripura CPI-M former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury at West Agartala Police Station with Case No-251/19. The charge against Badal Choudhury was imposed is that in various constructions including road, bridge, Govt quarters Rs. 600 crores were invested by the then Govt but 10% extra was given to the construction agencies.
