AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): National Congress on Tuesday has slammed the BJP Govt over scrapping of various jobs and failure to create new posts. Addressing media, Sharmistha Mukharjee, AICC spokesperson informed that in India right now at least 8 crores of unemployed youths are left jobless and 91 lakhs have lost jobs under the Modi Govt. Mukharjee said the pause in the recruitment with no new post creation is nothing but results of nationwide bankruptcy and fall of economy, GDP which downed below 5%. Mukharjee was addressing about the distress of the markets, countering PM Modi’s claim at US that ‘everything is going well in India’. The Congress leader further raised the record making unemployment date, which recorded by creating history of mounting unemployment rate in last 45 years. Thus, according to the statement of Mukharjee, the problem of zero-post creation is not only a problem faced by Tripura but a major nationwide problem".

Talking about this particular issue, Tripura Congress also has accused BJP for destroying Indian economy by affecting states, alleging “India is right now under Bankruptcy”.

Congress leader Subal Bhowmik said, “The bankruptcy of the country was followed by economic slow-down, GDP slowdown. When former PM Dr Manmohon Singh handedover the charges to the new Govt after 2014 Lok Sabha election winning of BJP on that time GDP was above 10%. India clocked 10.08 % growth under Manmohan Singh's tenure but today it is below 5%. Out of 5 economic pillars 3 are totally demolished under the BJP-rule. The damaged pillars are as Manufacturing which was 12.3% in Manmohon Singh’s time but today below 1%. Production is totally stopped. Big, big companies are on the verges of destruction and people are losing jobs fast. Textile Industry is on the verges of destruction and 50 lakhs textile employees are going to be terminated in the coming one year”.
