AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Under Chief Minister Biplab Deb water connectivity project is going faster.

According to official report till now 215 families have got drinking water facility recently whereas works going on 700 metre new projects works are going on.

Recently state vigilance authority has served notice to former Tripura minister for his dept’s alleged involvement in the Rs 850 Crore corruption in 2008-09 including drinking water project.

Recently while addressing on the occasion of a programme on 'Symposium on Traffic Management & Capacity Building Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb said that Prime Minister Modi during NITI Aayog meeting 2019 has preferred ‘Save Water’ movement at the priority.

CM said, except few counted states, Indian states right now are not much suffering from water crisis but it will dangerously increase after 10-15 years. PM Modi has expressed concerns about watercrisis problems thinking about the future which proves his foresight.

However, survey says that this project is going faster and dept is also working hard to give the project into a shape.
