AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Even though Tripura’s BJP led State Govt did never criticize central govt in fund sharing, rather State Govt always seen to praise the centre, but the ongoing situation shows there are lack of enough funding yet from centre, causing stress to the State Govt. Various loans which are being received by the State Govt, experts say that it may trouble the common men in taxes if in Central Govt doesn’t release special package for Tripura. Govt has received ADB and also moving for other loans. The previous Govt has been blamed for poor economic condition of the State but this excuse may not work for long as unemployment to regularization and also smart city like projects are becoming burdens to the State. Tripura tops in unemployment not from this year but from almost a decade, but the matter of concern is the increasing rates of unemployed and unpreparedness and fear among the youths to move for job-creator career.
It was the central BJP who promised a special package to fill up the vacant posts in the post poll years under Govt dept which has been the chief reason of Tripura’s youth vote banks. Unemployment rate is matter of triggering tension when it’s a bordering state may erupt crimes’ percentage. If the centre allocates a special package for Tripura to resolve the unemployment rates it may help the State Government too which is very new in its journey.
However, in the NITI Aayog meeting, CM Biplab Deb has placed various demands including special package but so far no major development has come to the pleas. Share of revenue was also demanded from the centre.
Being driven by a same Govt for long 25 years in a Northeast state with highest unemployment rate, state Tripura deserves special package.
Actions has been started to develop rural economy by helping farmers and cultivators as well as self-helps but the main problem is associated with the urban job creations where economy is sluggish.
