AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 7 (TIWN): Promising ‘Hira’ the Modi Govt had come in power in 2018, March 3rd. Modi in his Assembly Election speech said, “No need of Manik in Tripura, Tripura needs HIRA”. However, in last one and half year instead of HIRA, the existing facilities which were available to the people of Tripura are left paralyzed and power dept is one of the most failed dept under the BJP Govt, also fueling public resentment against the Govt. Tripura which was dreaming to become a ‘load-shedding free state’ is now turned a state with highest load-shedding. In light wave of wind, power cut has hit normal lives whereas nothing happens even after complaining to the power dept. In a serious frustration tone, people now in Tripura no more complaining regarding power cut issues in local power house offices as nothing happens even after complaining. The inverter users are under huge trouble as the power service not even giving time to charge the inverter machines. However, the Ministers and MLAs do not have problems as they have emergency connections.Since years, the power cut problem has increased and worsened in last few months.

Since years, the power cut problem has increased and worsened in last few months.

Many people died in Tripura in attempt to restore power service by themselves as TSECL do not take action 95% times.

Rural areas’ conditions are most pathetic but now Agartala’s situation is no way better. The power service is right now the wort service in Tripura.

Lack of maintenance has hit the power connectivity in the state. With light wave of win, people in Tripura area suffering due to massive power cut problems.

It’s happening due to almost no maintenance work since last one year.

Earlier only in village areas such problems had occurred but now allover the state including tow areas same problems are erupting.

But there is no reaction by the Government in this regard amid everyday road-blockade here and there due to water crisis resulted from long-power-cuts.
