'Cabinet can not make rule over Court’s decision', High Court bans E-rickshaw again

AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): After E-Rickshaw was banned by High Court, Tripura traffic police came in action to stop the rickshaws’ plying on the roads of capital city.
It happened on February 21, 2019 that based on HC’s order traffic police came in action, led the rickshaw drivers to hold massive protest.
After a mess was created across Agaratla City after police started removing all E-rickshaw batteries.
But on that BJP-IPFT Govt had taken a strict decision against one police officer named Sukanta Biswas accusing him behind the E-rickshaw chaos of today.
Court said, Govt can not make new rules over court’s decision like this.
Thus, from yesterday again E-Rickshaw was put on ban.
