NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): When Chief Minister Biplab Deb has assured people across Tripura that no miscreant will be spared if they again attempt to create violence in the state but reports of violence yet unending. A house was vandalized, jewelries looted and the whole house was set on fire at Charilam. Also all items of the house including collected tiles, infrastructure were damaged by the miscreants. The victim named Shibacharan Laskar is a CPI-M local leader at Charilam. His house is at South Brajapur Gram Panchayat in Charilam. On yesterday CPI-M delegates met Chief Minister, Congress State President Pradyot Manikya held a press conference at Delhi headquarter of AICC and announced Congress is going to Supreme Court demanding compensation for the victims.The house to house attacks, party offices’ demolitions were since May 23 were centered with the Lok Sabha Election results. In Mungiakami villagers were bound sit on road blocking vehicles demanding immediate stop in the violence.

Till now at least three killed, more than two hundred people injured in post poll violence in Tripura. This time, at Khayerpur one 20 years old boy Suman Das was killed in a brutal mob-violence on Sunday evening. The deceased family members and his friends said, inspite of being BJP supporter, his own party friends have killed him. Already more two died in BJP’s internal clash. Three of the deceased belong to the ruling party and killed in internal clash.

Across Tripura massive tensions are going on. Markets are burnt, people are being attacked from home.However, Chief Minister Biplab Deb is busy in his Delhi celebration of NDA’s victory. 

The BJP activists not only injured other party activists but injured own party activists. Serious allegation has raised against BJP MLA Ramprasad Pal for attacking his own party’s women activists.

The Chief Minister however has assured there will be a review in the property damage done in last 5 days, accepting his party workers using BJP’s name were too actively involved in violence. Public also have demanded a clear report from the police regarding the arrests of the miscreants who were involved in post poll violence.
