AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has flagged off Startup Tripura Yatra today at the Secretariat.
CM said, it’s a part of transforming Tripura under PM Modi’s vision.
Startup India is an initiative of the Government of India. The campaign was first announced by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during his 15 August 2015 address from the Red Fort, in New Delhi. The action plan of this initiative, is based on the following three pillars: Simplification and Handholding.
As a part of this initiative, "The Startup India Mobile van" which will travel throughout the state and record all your ideas.
“Entrepreneurship has gained startling traction in the recent years after the launch of the Startup India Scheme and has seen a paradigm shift from being a uniquely metropolitan phenomenon to becoming an all-pervasive culture. There has been a massive boom in the number of innovative startups from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and the non-metro entrepreneurs have shown unrelenting determination and tenacity in their pursuit of success”, an official said on the background.
With the aim of tapping the considerable potential that these regions offer, Startup India organizes the Startup India Yatra to scout promising entrepreneurs from non-metropolitan cities and provide them a platform through which they can pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations through incubation and mentorship from renown institutions to help them leapfrog the limitations of the lack of resources in their region.
