TIWN Dec 30, 2018
AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): PM Modi-CM Biplab Deb led JUMLA era deprived Tripura from funding led the cabinet to hike VAT on fuel once again. Cabinet confirmed, around 33 crores will be income from the VAT on fuel, seems Tripura has turned a land of beggars, deprived by Modi Govt led the Finance Dept to slash job opportunities for 7 lakhs unemployed youths. In the March 2018, Tripura’s unemployment toll was 15% under the previous Govt and people voted BJP to power to decrease it but the JUMLA strike has spiked up unemployment rate at 32.2%. Since around April month, 2018 Tripura has been in national media for wrong reasons. Yesterday Chief Minister Biplab Deb once again turned viral after he asserted that those who criticized him for his “Internet theory†are Anti-Nationalists. Tripura’s being in headline for wrong reason was centered with one person i.e. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb from his gaffes as “Internet was existing in Mahabharata’s time†to “Diana Hayden was unworthy to be Miss World†and “Sonamura is a District, where ships will comeâ€. With the increasing unemployment problem in Tripura, resentment, frustration have been spiked up among the jobless youths and resentment brewed among Govt job aspirants whose jobs were not only cancelled half-done but the future job opportunities were also snatched by Govt notification. The unemployed youths thus left with only options as rearing cows and opening paan shops, which was also Chief Minister Biplab Deb's suggestion for 7 lakh unemployed youths.
On the other side, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has started gradually telling people outside that industry has been brought in Tripura by BJP Govt, whereas the reality is harsh. In 2019 due to election first 3 months almost Govt depts left without recruitment but after the election since March to now December no recruitment except few in Tripura schools were done and for that reason, Education dept was showcaused by Finance Dept why recruitments were done. Over 8000 half done recruitments were cancelled after BJP Govt assumed in power and those posts were never reinitiated for fulfilling, whereas in BJP’s Vision Document published by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, it was clearly said that once BJP will be in power, it will recruit 50,000 unemployed youths in various Govt Depts in the first year but almost 10 months have been gone, so far no recruitment was proceeded, rather 2018 left as a year for Tripura’s 7 lakhs unemployed youths almost without recruitment.
National data records Tripura as the state with highest numbers of unemployed youths. Unemployment problems in Tripura remained unsolved due to nil-recruitment in various Govt Depts.According to Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy's monthly data, in October 2018 the unemployment problem is still tensed for Tripura as state continues to remain in top position with 32.2%. However, it's a light decrease than last month's 39.1%.Haryana's unemployment rate is 18.7%, which comes after Tripura as second. But the second topper state's unemployment rate is much more lower than this unemployment rate of Tripura.
People though a better Govt since March 3rd, 2018, but now neutral voters are repenting by voting for BJP and many BJP strong supporters who attended BJP rallies, will not vote for BJP in Lok Sabha Election, says the ground report.
