AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Asking unemployed youths to open "paan shops" and "cow farms" now, BJP led State Govt under Chief Minister Biplab Deb has accepted that the whole Northeast Festival was done "without tender". In excuse, the Govt said there was no time for tender and on the basis on emergency, such actions had to be done. However, BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik since before the Northeast Festival, had been holding various meetings with District Magistrates in the DM Offices illegally and ordered how Sports Dept works will be controlled. Now, this tenderless Northeast Youth Festival has exposed how Pratima Bhowmik and her accompanies under Chief Minister Biplab Deb are looting Northeast Festival funds and hence State Govt could not show the expenditure yet. Rs. 800 food per plate was totally a JUMLA as even 100 rupees plates are better found on Agartala road-sides.

Tripura BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik's nexus with Northeast Youth Festival Fund expenditure came in news reports which claimed that Bhowmik has also bought her flat with that money via one BJP activist Tapas who took the food arrangement project "Without Tender".

The report published in Times Today website further claimed, Tapas's Ganaraj Chowmuhani home was occupied by Pratima Bhowmik since 2 years but no rent was given to him and now when Tapas demanded his money, then Bhomwik allegedly threatened him to tie under fake drug case. After many fightings and arguments there was a deal that she will "manage" huge amounts for him and that 80 lakhs in the name food arrangement was given to him without tender.

This is not the single scam allegation against Biplab and Pratima gang but with another major shameful event for Tripura in the name of Neermahal trip, State Govt under organizing committee has charged the outside artists who came to perform inNortheast Youth Festival to buy "tickets" to enter the Neermahal. The organizing committee had invited the performers to come in the 'tour' across historical places of Tripura, whereas from Neermahal huge amounts have been collected from the performers. It has been known that for one plate food, Govt is showing expenditure above Rs. 600 to Rs. 700 whereas foods are of very low quality.

With all such scam allegations, Congress demanding Judicial Investigation, said that instead of doing proper food arrangement for the performers in the hostels, Kamalpur like places were also decorated with flex of Rs. 36 lakh with banners of the CM. Congress President Birjit Sinha has accused Chief Minister is behind this scam as Sports Minister Manoj Deb was also sidelined from the expenditure issue. CPI-M also have condemned the ongoing scams.

Tripura Govt Dept's recruitment percentage in 2018 has downed at 85% worsened by Govt led cancellation of all existing recruitments which has affected around 8,000 unemployed youths.

BJP in its Vision Document laid various promises for unemployed youths as 1)Providing one job opportunity to every household through a multi pronged approach  2) To fll up 50,000 Govt Posts vacancies within a year through a transparent process, 3) Ensuring the implementation of 7th Pay Commission for all employees of the state government in the first cabinet meeting itself., 4)Enhancing minimum wages to Rs. 340 per day to meet the national, 5) To better the lives of the marginalized people in the state BJP will bring all allowances to a minimum of RS. 2000 in a phased manner without putting undue burden on the state exchequer etc.
