AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): Northeast Youth Festival 2018, held in Tripura came under charges of various corruptions and out of them one is making-chappati by using legs (not hands) for the Northeast artists which is going viral now.

At first a local news channel “New Vanguard” had broadcasted the issue and soon the YouTube link of the channel turned viral. Social media users have slammed the State Govt for such “mean” way of treating outsider artists.

In another revelation, on yesterday it was exposed by CPI-M social media page how after inviting artists to visit Neermahal, Tripura Govt had imposed ticket fares for the young artists to enter Neermahal.

In the food arrangement, huge corruptions were exposed in Northeast Festival whereas VIP tickets were sold in “black”.

Opposition Congress had demanded judicial investigation into the matter and accused Chief Minister Biplab Deb solely responsible behind the scams. Northeast Youth Festival 2018 started from November 15, participated by 8 Northeast States artists.
