AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Freshers' welcome programme of TET teachers at Tulshibari School in Agartala drew much attention as CPI-M Ex-MLA Jhumu Sarkar and BJP Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath came face to face on the dais.
Jhumu Sarkar also delivered a speech thanking the BJP Govt for organizing such a Freshers' Welcome programme. While addressing Jhumu Sarkar urged for quality education and demanded Govt's special attention in the infrastructure development in rural schools.
However, Jhumu has been victimized under "far transfer" politics as he has been posted in South District's Jolaibari H S School.
Recently Tripura CM Biplab Deb used Jhumu's name for propagating his party and Govt saying, if BJP Govt was not transparent then how Jhumu Sarkar had been appointed as teachers ?
Jhumu Sarkar is popular for his lunatic dance which turned viral ahead of election in his Barjala constituency. He was dancing in the 'Bisharjan' festival of his locality and after his video was displayed by one BJP backed media (BJP was opposition on that time), CPI-M Govt had suspended the channel for few hours.
Now, though TET exam Jhumu Sarkar has been appointed as teacher, which became another viral discussion's matter.
