AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Agartala and West Tripura’s Law & Order deterioration continue as criminals running crime spree as SP West Ajit Pratap Singh kept himself engaged on contradictory activities, rather than doing his duty.

SP West’s Saffron Party alignment, nexus even causing various Police officials to privately discuss what actually Ajit Pratap Singh’s goals, whether a promotion or a transfer to outside State.

After assuming power, Biplab Deb appointed a bootlicker in SP West Post and removed an upright Police Officer Abhijit Saptarshi.

Biplab Deb’s West SP Ajit Pratap Singh has caused Tripura’s West District & Capital city lawless, clutched by robbers and killers, even now criminals started attacking early morning walkers.

Before SP Ajit Pratap Singh was appointed replacing former SP Abhijit Saptarshi after each serious incident the former SP Saptarshi used to conduct press conference or briefed media regarding issues, but since Ajit Pratap Singh holds the position, crime rates have been double and miscreants are attacking people in broad day light.

In Tripura’s history Laxmi Narayan Bari like ancient temple was never dared to attack by thieves but under the new SP Ajit Pratap Singh this historical religious place was looted.

On November 6, one senior citizen was attacked when she was in morning walk. Even though the miscreants were arrested but no sign of SP during the investigation was seen. It has been known from sources that instead of having SP all OC and other police officers are working on serious issues.

Police sources also alleged that SP Ajit Pratap Singh day night keeps ownself busy to please Chief Minister Biplab Deb happy and “yes man” attitude towards Chief Minister Biplab Deb turning irritating for other police officers.

Sometimes, SP is giving order of unlawful interrogations or investigation which is turning heavy upon the OCs of various police stations.

In compare to West District SP Ajit Pratap Singh, no other SP is as inactive as him.

At North Tripura SP Bhanupada Chakraborty, in Gomati District A R Reddy all have performed their best in last 8 months including seizing of ganjas and drugs, whereas SP West unable to control the crime rate even at minimum level.

From law and order situation to other issues are being halted under this present SP as Ajit Pratap kept himself busy in bootlicking Biplab Deb for personal gains.

Due to SP West’s lameduck performance, capital city Agartala’s crime rate is spiking up, everyday crime graph is on the rise, capital Agartala’s law & order responsibility fell upon East and West Agartala Police Stations.
