AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): Opposition Congress activists have blocked road in the capital city Agartala demanding arrest of BJP Mandal President of Chief Minister Biplab Deb's constituency Banamalipur named Dipak Kar.
The blockade was held at Kalyani area in Banamalipur.
Dipak Kar is also the right hand of Chief Minister Biplab Deb who was helped allegedly in various crimes with Mohila Morcha President of the area Manisha Saha. According to the reports both Dipak Kar and Manisha Saha are enraged in illegal activities. Locals wanted to complaint against both of them since long back but due to police threat and other threats nobody could dare it.
Since one victim Ratna Debnath has come forward to voice against Dipak Kar's activities, locals and opposition parties also decided to protest against illegal works done by Dipak Kar.
TIWN reporting on Dipak Kar : Biplab Deb’s right hand man, Banamalipur BJP leader Dipak Kar’s gang led by Dilip Roy attempted to rape BJP activist Ratna Debnath but brave Ratna Debnath’s daring struggle prevented ghastly crime. When Ratna Debnath reported this to Biplab Deb and other BJP leaders, not only victim Ratna Debnath was expelled from BJP but Dipak Kar’s gang threatened to murder her if she further tells this crime to anyone. Victim Ratna Deb tried to meet Chief Minister Biplab Deb multiple times but Biplab used his security men to push out Ratna Debnath so that Chief Minister can save hooligan, rapist, murderer criminals. Biplab Deb’s close coterie in his Banamalipur proving no less than criminals in crimes against women.
