AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): Ahead of Diwali 2018, Health Minister Sudip Barman has called for massive blood donation from the people as blood is known as "Life Drop".

The blood donation camp was organized at Indranagar Kali Bari ahead of Kali Puja, Diwali. A huge numbers of devotees, blood donors participated in that programme. 

The Health Minister also called the mass for regular blood donations at least in each 3 or 4 months. 

"You can give 4 times blood in a year, but we urge people to donate blood at least 3 times a year, which will help not only the mankind but also will purity your body", said Sudip Barman.
