AGARTALA, Oct 29 (TIWN):BJP’s pre-election vision document fooled Tripura’s lakhs of voters as lakhs of unemployed youths voted for BJP with the hope for FREE MOBILE PHONEs, One Job for each household and many other FAKE promises like ‘One Degree College in each constituency’ but reality is BJP Govt’s cash reserve NIL, many employees yet to get 2 months old salaries, no cash flow from Delhi to save Tripura economy. Page 8 of Vision Document (Educational Vision) point no-1, BJP had promised that one degree college will be established in each constituency. While addressing at Dhanpur (Manik Sarkar's constituency), Assam Minister HimantaBiswaSarma said, "What a shame on Manik Sarkar could not give a single College in Dhanpur in 20 years. BJP Govt will make a College in Dhanpur within 7 days of Govt formation".

However in Education related promised there are multiple promises which are left without fulfilling as:  1) Ensuring yearly teacher training programs and the introduction of technological tools in all schools of the state to boost the quality of education, 2) Establishing a government body for coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of education in schools, 3) Implementing the scheme for Smart Board in all classrooms of Tripura under Digital India scheme, 4) Introducing of optional vocational subjects in secondary school education for all around development, 5) Encouraging local self-governments to open up schools, 6) Enhance the number of languages ofered in schools to include Kokborok , Chakma and Manipuri, 7) Ofer classes in Computers, Electronics, Drawing, Music and Physical Education upto Higher Secondary level, 8) Providing Management Skill Training in a range of subjects like business, hospitality, marketing, tourism, hotel, hospital, food processing etc, 9) Developing and promoting R&D institutes and science parks for biotechnology, food technology, nanotechnology, fsheries science, horticulture, environmental science etc.

But none of the promises could be filled up till now. Indeed the whole Vision Document of BJP left unfulfilled with the latest announcement of "Jumla Pay Commission".

Education related more promises in Vision Document are :

1) Embarking on awareness campaigns and policy initiative to ensure compulsory enrollment and zero drop-outs at schools.

2) Ensuring basic facilities like well-lit classrooms, potable water, library, well-equipped laboratories and maintained playground.
