AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): One Bangladeshi was arrested named Azam Khan by State Police led various romanticized stories around Khan's purpose. Even Azam Khan was involved in renovation of CM’s bungalow when Biplab Deb moved into the building.

Azam Khan was residing in Tripura with fake Indian documents . He is allegedly engaged in illegal drug smuggling.

However, even though from police no statement has come yet, but via social media talks are viral that Azam Khan came to build relations with Tripura CM Biplab Deb as under his Chief Ministry drug smuggling is hacked.

Few news media have also claimed that Biplab’s Bangladesh connections.

However, it may be a well-cooked story also as Tripura police's success level in cracking  international drug smuggling chain is not even 1 % reached.
