AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): BJP National leaders to Chief Minister, Ministers have started to beg votes from Tripura 'Janta Janardan' (Common Men in comparison with God) ahead of Lok Sabha election. Whereas Sunil Deodhar wants two lotuses from Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues to say 'I am the Chief Minister of 37 lakh people'. But the reality is horrifying, worse than nightmare for them who have lost jobs after the new govt has been seated in power by masses. After BJP-IPFT Govt empowered for 5 years in Tripura, many jobs are under being terminated.

It started with above 600 govt contractual employees under Japan Funded JICA project and now Forest Dept employees, Mid-day meal employees, DRW, AMC and other depts too which have hit widows, women, extreme poor people from deep rural areas.

For example one Health Dept Employee Nirmal Debbarma who was working in low rank in the Health Dept. was terminated just because he was late for half an hour in office. A video where Nirmal Debbarma is cutting woods went viral, but closing eyes, the inhuman move of BJP Govt led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues and yesterday mid-day-meal employees engaged since 2003 were terminated.

Since the BJP-govt is in power, massive terminations are going on and across the schools mid-day-meal employees are being terminated which have hit many poor families.

Before the election, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi also promised that no political revenge will be taken against any person. But the terminated mid-day-meal workers who with hope of “wage hike” had voted for BJP, are now losing their jobs.

With a similar incident, Belabour Anganwadi Centre workers have protested on yesterday in the Anganwadi demanding orders of their termination. The workers said, as they were recruited by the Panchayat, so they should get a papers from the school or the Panchayat.

An old woman said at the beginning they got only 50 rupees per day but it was hiked at 100 and later more. They thought that the new govt will increase their wages but unexpectedly the School Headmaster told them not to come anymore from Sept 1st.

Many employees have recently lost their jobs who were working under state govt on contractual basis.

Two women of AMC were terminated on Friday, whereas Govt employees under JICA project and Forest Dept and DRW were also terminated.

On February 8, PM Modi in his one day visit in Tripura while addressing in the first rally at Sonamura expressed deep satisfaction after seeing the mass crowd of BJP supporters at there saying 'Janta is Janardan(God) to decide CPI-M's fate soon', adding "Cholo Paltai".

Targeting Manik Sarkar, Modi said, "Sarkar is Tripura’s Sarkar but Janta is Janardan".

Now same theory is applied to BJP when they have made the Sarkar. Fulfill Vision Document and take votes.
