AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Even after High Court led massive faceloss of BJP Govt after police didn't give permission to INPT for a rally on June 28, this time also INPT is not given with permission to stage a protest at Agartala.
Police however have suggested them (INPT) another spot, which INPT didn't like. Also INPT leaders have mentioned, this is unconstitutional job done by police.
Recently, INPT filed a case against state govt after police didn’t permit them to stage protest in the Capital City Agartala on June 28 and on the fourth hearing INPT has won the verdict.
INPT President Bijay Hrangkhawl on that time said that there was absolutely no reason for not giving permission as the protest was about various demands from the state govt and the attitude of not allowing opposition to hold protest itself proves BJP-govt doesn’t believe in democracy.
