AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): At least 100 students have been deprived of admission in Colleges across Tripura led NSUI to stage a protest at the Education office in Agartala.
The protest also added a gherao of the Education Director.
Based on the allegation raised against the admission procedure in various Colleges, which says, lots of partialities, cheatings were done in the name of admission.
NSUI President of Tripura Rakesh Das said, “Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath is visiting schools, checking mid-day-meals. It’s a good initiative but the Minister has failed to visit those institutions where he is needed right now”.
NSUI further has demanded a smooth admission procedure and a stop in the harassments to the students from normal Degree Colleges to Medical Colleges.
