AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Saturday has alleged a conspiracy in Ex Deputy CM Baidyanath Majumder’s statue demolition without mentioning what kind of conspiracy.

Indeed CM was hesitating to mark the two held persons either as BJP or belong to opposition party, just mentioned “3 Tarikh ke baad….”.

However whenever BJP activists are found in any illegal activity they have been marked as new BJP activists, even though all opposition activists were welcoming in joining programme since pre-election.

CM has assured that Baidyanath Majumder’s statue will be rebuilt.

Lt Baidyanath Majumder's statue was vandalized at Kailashahar on 25 July midnight, a leading Communist leader who served whole life for social work and the party, was a bachelor and untouched by 'corruption'.

CPI-M came in massive protest on yesterday with the statue of Majumder was demolished in deep night on July 26. The statue demolition practice in Tripura started since the election result out day with Lenin's statue demolition.

Already various statues, party offices of CPI-M were bulldozed in Tripura. After Baidyanath Majumder's statue was demolition people across the state condemned led Tripura Govt to handover the case to CID.
