AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): Group of South Indian Textiles companies not only played with lives of 562 unemployed youths from Tripura but enslaved them like bonded laborers with no proper foods or accommodation or salary. After today's incident, there is no doubt that fraud South Indian Textile companies fooled Tripura youths and Tripura Govt officials in the name of jobs.

Without food, proper arrangement the youths were taken via local train. Whether they were said that total 5 to 6 people will share a room, in reality above 11-12 people were dumped in a single room.

Not only this, the youths were only paid Rs. 4,200. No proper food arrangement or anything was provided to them.

Per day they paid Rs. 150 only to the youths !

Most surprising matter was, the youths were used by those companies not as employees but as cheap labours, which led the youths to return state.

However, the state returned youths met Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma  as they went to South India under state govt’s liability.

On May 24, TIWN was the first media to expose the pathetic living condition of those youths with few glimpses of the fooding arrangement for workers in Textile Industries, who went to South India for jobs after being selected via job fair.

Few BJP supporters reacted sharply on that news raising doubts on the news content.

Now, finally when everything has been exposed it’s to be seen what BJP led state govt does to bring back all youths to the state, as the girls who arrives today in Tripura had actually escaped from the company because the companies were asking Rs. 10000 form them as ‘loss-compensation’ to the company.

Total 7 companies took Tripura youths with job promised at Rs. 7500/- per month. But the payment which was paid was only Rs. 4200.

Many youths are threatened to stay like bonded labourers which forced them to flee to Tripura before 1 month causing embarrassment for Biplab Deb Govt’s Job policy.
