AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): In a display of negative politics and not allowing Police to conduct investigation within a fair timeframe , Congress student wing NSUI said, it doesn’t believe in CID which has taken the charge of suicide victim Lahiri Debbarma's case.
Addressing media, NSUI President Rakesh Das said, the case has been intentionally handed over to CID to delay.
“The incident took place on May 26 and toady is May 30, but no proper action has been taken against the culprits”, the NSU leader said.
Rakesh Das further said, “The whole incident is going like a cinema. We have lost our sister but investigation is going at very slow speed even after 5 days of the incident. NSUI will be with Lahari and will demand justice for her".
NSUI also warned the BJP led state govt that NSUI will go in massive protest if actions are not taken soon.
