AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN) Rain, water-logs have heavily disrupted normal lives on Tuesday morning here in the Capital City Agartala.

Excessive rains on yesterday night have led the water-logging basically.

However, Chief Minister Biplab Deb had sought 1 year time for the permanent solution of such problems as Agartala City followed by two decades of Municipality’s negligence have become almost a swimming pool without any proper drainage mechanism. 

The city's situations developed since the late morning as the rain took a pause after early morning. According to weather dept there are more chances of rains in coming days.
