AGARTALA, September 5 (TIWN): Shutdown of Bhadharghat CNG Station created troubles for CNG vehicles. Agartala has five main CNG refilling stations, they are located at Radhanagar, TRTC chowmuhuni and Badarghat. But since few days the Badarghat CNG station was shutdown due to technical problems. All the CNG vehicles across the city has to run to TRTC chowmuhuni and Radhanagar CNG station for refilling. Today hundreds of CNG auto-rickshaws and other vehicles waited from TRTC Chowhumani to Orient Chowhumani for hours to get CNG. The queue soon crossed Rabindra Bhavan Chowhumani- says driver Anil shil.

Badharghat CNG station faces trouble to supply CNG for about 2-3 days. But today  the situation became worse. Huge number of auto drivers throng into the TRTC Chowhumani’s CNG Station and a very soon the line reached Rabindra Bhavan Chowhumani.

Huge traffic jam took place at respective areas.  Driver Anil Shil while told TIWN that was standing for about 2-3hrs but queue seems endless. This kind of scenarios became daily routine for the auto drivers and other CNG vehicles. This kind of situation occurred due to less CNG Stations in the city. CNG not only restricted to autos, buses and private vehicles use CNG too. So, the number of CNG Stations needs to be increased. Otherwise in the coming days the situation becomes more worsen.
