AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday while addressing at Pragna Bhawan on the occasion of "Civil Service Day", challenged West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to grow Tripura's revenue than West Bengal in next 3 years ! "I will show her what’s called Development. Mamata Didi has looked at Tripura with her narrow-mind. She said, Tripura is a small state. But Tripura may be a small state but people’s mentality should be bigger. But Didi is Didi and Sarkar is Sarkar (Didi toh Didi hoti hai, Sarkar to sarkar hota hai). Within 3 years, I will show her that Tripura’s growth rate is more than West Bengal" ! The issue was raised, after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee mocked at BJP after they have become aggressive to win West Bengal with party's Tripura winning experience in the Assembly Election-2018. The West Bengal Chief Minister said, “Winning Tripura like smalls state is like winning a Municipal Election”. Reacting over the political remark of the West Bengal Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, “Mamata Didi must go for mental checkups”.

Today Tripura Chief Minister once again repeated the quote of Mamata Banerjee and challenged her saying, “Tripura will grow in fast manner and within three years, my state’s income will be more than her state”.

“Size of a state can’t define the development and potentialities. If size matters, then I am the tallest man here, infact, taller than police officials, but I can't be an IPS”, he said.

However, Chief Minister’s claim yet to be granted as he is still undergoing tweets and criticisms after his anti-women remark on yesterday in the same auditorium, where he said, “Indian women should look like Laxmi, Saraswati, but not like Diana Hayden”.
