AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has aimed to mitigate the drinking water scarcity from river Howrah. This initiative will also end the water scarcity on Howrah river banks.

Tripura CM is visiting Delhi with various projects in hand including river Howah.

According to state govt, River-Howrah project 3 developments will come :

 1) 6 months of drinking water source will be arranged from here,  which will be pure and  govt will not need to spend huge funds for water purification,

2) The water will not go directly as before going it will  generate hydro-electricity, which will help the public and also the locals here. Govt has also decided to set a food processing plant for the locals here (Champaknagar), who are living under poverty. They can cultivate pineapples at here,

 3) No flood will be in Agartala anymore and our govt is working at these three directions with river Howrah”
