AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): Mere ‘eyewash’ suspension of only 15 days for TIPS Asst Professor Sabyasachi Choudhury has triggered mass resentment among the students. Pervert Sabyasachi’s frequent Delhi visits, hobnobbing with Central BJP leaders like General Secretary Ram Madhav, National Spokesman Dr Sambit Patra to other office bearers helped this criminal’s courage to continue molestation, harassment of girl students. Apart from BJP leaders, Sabyasachi maintained close relation with former Health Minister Badal Choudhury, CPI-M spokesman Gautam Das, which helped Sabyasachi to skip college teachings from November’2017, camping at Delhi , shuttling between Agartala & Delhi on Govt money with groups of hapless TIPS girl students for the purpose of pervert pleasures but kept drawing Asst Prof Salary for last 5 months.

Rather than immediate arrest after such serious allegations of physical molestation by various girl students, Sabyasachi was given a mere 15 days suspension due to BJP Govt’s blessings.

TIPS (Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences) Asst Professor cum H.O.D Sabyasachi Choudhury was involved in various Academic corruptions apart from abusing, molesting his girl students and torturing his male students living in hostels to fulfil his pervert pleasures.

But the HOD of Physiotherapy Sabyasachi Chowdhury was surprisingly found with top BJP leaders recently and used to roam around the country, among those places Delhi is the mostly visited city. Before his scams exposed in TIPS College on yesterday, Sabyasachi was seen with all top leaders of BJP. Sabyasachi whose appointment was never possible in such a post without CPI-M’s top leaders recommendations, was allegedly taking benefits from both the parties. Sabyasachi was dealing with each matters related to the Physiotherapy dept. and allegedly was making hefty amounts. After such an incident only 15 days of suspension have led mass resentment among the students.

However, the Asst Professor who was maintaining a good image till this mass student protest and exposure yesterday.

Now public and his known people are condemning the activity of the HOD directly. Most embarrassing part is Sabyasachi was revealing himself as a saffron-man with Bajrang like attires. Also many pictures he shared in facebook, when he was sharing times with top BJP leaders. Recently, Sabyasachi also attended BJP CM and Ministers oath taking ceremony as an active worker of BJP.

Yesterday, after the students of Physiotherapy Department, TIPS protested about their HOD Sabyasachi Choudhury's ongoing misdeeds, the college authority has suspended  him for next 15 days.

It has been known that several complaints and allegations have also been gathered against the HOD recently and today the teachers received shocks after acknowledging the ongoing issues led by HOD Sabyasachi Choudhury .

A meeting was conducted by the Disciplinary Committee of TIPS and the committee has suspended the concerned person for the next 15 days.

The authority also instructed the Disciplinary Committee to enquire about the true fact behind it so that further action can be taken within a week.

For this incidence no academic activities happened in TIPS for that day.

Noteworthy, girl students have alleged the HOD tries to abuse them, molest them whereas students of boys hostel claimed about physical tortures upon them.

Not only this, allegation of corruption has been brought against the HOD, whereas the students sent for course-ending training outside, are also left in miserable condition. Also the HOD doesn't attend any class and busy to roam around the country in the name of various works.  In this situation, teachers of the dept have also come in full support with the student and said, they are ‘shocked’ to know about the HOD’s activity against the girls.
