AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): Since night 12 am Section-144 have been imposed across the 20 centers of counting centres. Apart from that across the State a three layers security forces deployed, who are guarding 24 X 7. In maximum centres across 100 meters the security have been tightened whereas in sensitive places the areas have been measured with 200 meters.The Central Forces is fully controlling the safety issues. Whereas at the upper-layer or outer-layer Tripura Police, TSR are helping the Central security forces but the middle and inner layers will be totally controlled by central forces. There are 3 layers of securities : Outer layers which is controlled by Central forces, but helped by state police and TSR. The middle layer and the inner layer is purely handled by central forces.
Seeing the sensitivity of the Jampui-Jala counting center, Election Commission imposed section 144 around 200 meters of that counting center.
CEO Sriram Taranikanti has announced that no political party agent can enter in political attire inside the counting halls or centre. Election Commission and the Political parties have urged the state to keep the peace active.
The toll free number 15103 is opened for the common people via which they can register their complaints in case of any untoward incident during the poll hours. The helpline will remain active 24 X 7 to help the voters, which will be helpful also for police to maintain the law and order.
Vote counting for Tripura Assembly Election across 59 counting halls of the constituencies will be started tomorrow at 8 AM.
