After Biplab says 'I need 60 seats', CPI-M says 'Get ready to lose at least 51 seats'

AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): BJP State President Biplab Deb has been strict with his claim of 60 out of 60 seats in BJP's favour, CPI-M supporters came with propaganda saying, CPI-M will win in 51 seats out of 60. In a reply to media questions, regarding seat expectations, Biplab Deb said, "My hunger is more and so I need all seats but it's not me but only public who have decided the result already". CPI-M under the banner of ''Supporters of Manik Sarkar'', a FB page said, "We are congratulating all for 51 seats in advance". With all these, state is now looking forward to know who will win the election as on March 3rd poll result to be out for 59 constituencies.With around 90 % of vote casting, the much awaited Assembly poll met an end in 25 yrs long Left regime's Tripura. Public with full enthusiasm had cast their votes till late night on February 18 and now it's only 9 days to be confirmed who will win the next 5 years in Tripura. Amidst few untoward incidents, the poll went under tight safety blanket led by central forces. Now strong rooms have kept under heavy security across the state.

CEO Sriram Taranikanti has announced, there will be total 59 counting halls during March 3rd's vote-counting.

Taranikanti said, "There are 59 counting halls across Tripura, even though the number of counting halls were supposed to be 60. But as Charilam constituency's one candidate was expired, so for now according to 59 constituencies there will be 59 counting halls".

"The counting will be conducted in Sectors with 20 locations. Among the 20 sectors for West Tripura at Umakanta Academy the voting counting halls to be set. At Sepahijala Dist we have 2 counting halls : One is Sonamura another is Bishalgarh and 3rd one is Jampui Jala", said Taranikanti."3 counting centres will be at Gomati : One is at Udaipur, another is at Amarpur and the 3rd is at Korbook", he added.

"3 counting centres at South Tripura are Belonia, Santir Bazar, Sabroom", Taranikanti said.

"At North Tripura we have 3 counting centres : Panisagara, Kanchanpur, Dharmanagar and in Uankoti the counting centres are Kailashahar, Kumarghat", the CEO said.

"In Khowai Dist the counting centres are Khowai, Teliamura. In Dhalai Dist the  counting centres are : Kamalpur, Ambassa. Apart from that Jirania and Gandachara will have counting centres", he said.
