AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): Two thieves were arrested by Police from border Gol-Chakkar area on yesterday night at Agartala of West Dist in a bike-stealing, smuggling row.

The two thieves are : Raju Das of Amarpur and Rupam Das of Agartala. Both of them became friends in jail when following their previous crime records police put them in jail many times.

Last on February 16 a case diary was registered by Arijit Nag, whose bike was stolen from his house Ramnagar-4.

Based on that complain on yesterday midnight police had arrested both Raju and Rupam from border area of Agartala.

The bike was also successfully recovered and returned to the owner.
