AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): Even though Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned 'Janta as Janardan' during his election rally in Tripura, but when it's about the practical ground the words are clashing with reality. The confidence level of some leaders are that much that few of them skipped to meet his / her voters through door-to-door-campaigning. Ex-Congress, TMC leader Pranjit Singha Roy who is the candidate of R K Pur constituency also didn't meet his voters, even though his popularity under BJP tag has increased more. Only with few voters he could meet, whose houses are beside the road. However, on behalf of Pranjit Singha Roy few youths came and mentioned that due to PM Modi's rally and some other factors the BJP leader got very less time for door to door campaigning.
On the other side, across the state few leaders also begged votes touching the feet of elder, even though most of them were new candidates. Both the separate instances proves that 'Janta is Janardan' when the leader is new or lacks support.
With all these, the election is finally over and now state is eagerly waiting for the election result which will be announced on March 3rd along with two other Northeastern state.

Amidst few untoward incidents, the poll went under tight safety blanket led by central forces. Now strong rooms have kept under heavy security across the state.
