AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): Heated with BJP led allegation about Tripura increasing crime records under the Left Govt, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar asked public to go through the Central govt given crime record of the state, rather than jumping with BJP's political campaigning. When BJP Chief of India Amit Shah has brought allegation that total 5 women are victimized and to are raped in Tripura, Manik Sarkar said, "Crimes are happening everywhere but it's over highlighted due to the over campaigning on such issues with Political gains adding full of lies". Talking about the journalists murders, Sarkar said, "During Home Minister Rajnath Singh's visit in Tripura, he also tried to mention about it. But the crime record bureau, which is not made by any state govt, but by Central Govt, I would request public to go through it".

"Our record in controlling crime has been excellent. It has been improved years after years and even in the last record of crime record bureau of India, the positive development of the law and order situation was witnessed", Sarkar said.

Regarding journalist Santanu's murder, Sarkar said, "This is an extremist problem. Tripura was suffering from such problems since 30 to 35 years last, but who has combated them ? It's only the Left Govt".

"In case of curbing the extremist problems, we did not get any support from the Central Govt including the Congress Govt, but we have successfully curbed them", said Sarkar.

"So, the people who are saying against Left and making our party as responsible for such crime, they are denying the truth", said Sarkar.
