AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Amid criticisms about Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s heli-riding, CPI-M National leader Brinda Karat today has hit the Prime Minister narendra Modi, one day after his visit saying, “The man who from one part of Tripura flies to another part and talks about Tripura’s problems, do people trust them ?â€
“He is the Prime Minister. So, he must had kept the minimum respect of his position except political utterances in his Tripura visit”, said Karat at Hapania rally.
“People wanted to know, for women what you have done, for youths what you have done and what you have done for farmers and workers in last 4 years”, said Karat.
“What you talked to the IPFT, you must had told yesterday. Why are IPFTs saying that they got Tipraland already?”, said Karat.
“BJP has created a division among Bengalis and Tribals and now they are boosting the party, targeting CPI-M”, added Karat.
