AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): No national party is taking the Left ruled tiny Northeast state Tripura lightly in this Assembly Election and Congress too is trying to fight the Election battle with its full battalion led by party's High Command Rahul Gandhi. Amidst party's tight situation ahead of the Assembly Election, following 25 years of Communist regime, BJP has become the chief opponent of opposition Congress, rather than CPI-M. Being afraid of coming in 3rd position in state party's list, Congress is also inviting National leaders from various states just like the BJP. With all these, Tripura Congress has announced today that National Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Tripura to campaign for Congress on February 16. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit in Tripura on yesterday the party has announced about Rahul Gandhi's visit.

National Congress leader C. P. Joshi in a press conference today has announced this before state media at Hotel Welcome Palace.

At the same time, it has been known that C P Joshi and few more National leaders will be campaigning in Tripura till the election.

However, earlier it was heard that  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make his second visit in Tripura on February 15 and to address a massive rally in Capital City Agartala, even though nothing has been finalized yet.

But if Modi comes on February 15, on the next day Congress will hold the campaigning led by Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

On the other side, the BJP has called Congress as the B-Team of ruling CPI-M, trying hard and soul to cut BJP's vote banks.
