AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): CPI-M National leader Birnda Karat has slammed the BJP today saying that there are 'unholy' tying among BJP and IPFT as 'BJP is saying one thing and IPFT is saying another thing'.
Karat was addressing at Bagma, which is won constituency of CPI-M Minister Naresh Jamatia, recently faced a major blow with BJP, IPFT's massive increased supports. However, addressing at tribal dominating Bagma rally, Karat said, 'The tribal and non-tribal's unity has raised Tripura's glory at national level. We have to keep the unity alive anyhow, but this year for votes an unholy alliance has been done among BJP and IPFT".
"BJP is saying one thing and IPFT is saying another thing. We know BJP well and have experienced BJP's ruling in tribal states", said Karat.
"What has BJP done for tribals ? I also work with tribals across Jharkhand, MP an many places, but BJP is allocating tribal lands to the Corporate. BJP's politics has killed 2 tribals recently in Assam", added Karat.
"BJP's decision is for corporate's welfare and in tribal areas they speak in one language and in non-trible areas they speak in another language", added Karat.
"Why Rajnath Singh was silent on Tipraland issue when IPFT people are saying that BJP has agreed 50 % with Tipraland ? Why there was not a single line for the tribal ?", mentioned Karat.
"But Tripura people are not fool that they will fall in their trap. As a result, the tribals, non-tribals will together defeat BJP", added Karat.
