AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh hitting the CPI-M Govt with the increasing crimes, murders in the state, said that after BJP Govt comes in power, within 7 days the cases will be handed over to CBI. Rajnath Singh however, was typically talking about the Sudip Datta Bhaumik murder case. "In Tripura murders are rampant but no justice is preserved for the victims. From crime against women to murders of common men, journalists nobody is left under Left's governance. After BJP will form its govt here, within 7 days we will handover the case to CBI", said Rajnath Singh.The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was addressing at BT College ground on Sunday, which had called mass gathering with Singh's arrival. Singh further mentioned that Tripura people have already taken decision to change the Govt here. Boosting the BJP's strength, he added, "I am confident that the Govt will be surely changed here and the next Govt will be BJP".
"Tripura tops in crimes against women. After 25 years of ruling, the Govt here has failed to protect its women too", said Rajnath Singh.
"We must take oath to defeat the party which can't protect its state's women. Everyday our mothers and sisters are raped in Tripura. At the same time, Political violence is going on at its full race. But when BJP will rule, every citizen will be secured including the CPI-M and other party people because without peace and security no development can come"
Noteworthy, Tripura’s senior journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik was killed on Nov-21, 2016 in Tripura State Rifles (TSR) Commandant’s office allegedly by TSR Officer Tapan Debbarma. Bhaumik was exposing various corruption news of the Left Govt including TSR Officers cash-exchanges with corrupt hands.
