Grenade Seized in Agartala Gol Bazar are | AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): A hand grenade’s seizure has triggered tension in the Agartala Border Gol Bazar area. On-duty fireman Amal Chakraborty first spotted the grenade just a few feet away from his Gol Bazar fire brigade office and informed the police and 112 about it. Talking to the fireman whose instant action made the recovery possible, Chakraborty said, “During my usual duty hours, I was looking around the area, and this object drew my attention. Mob Lynched Driver after Vehicle hit a p | KAILASHAHAR, June 3 (TIWN): A Violent mob killed a vehicle driver in Kailashahar, Kali Shashan tea garden area, after a vehicle had hit a local pedestrian there. On Tuesday, a vehicle carrying some passengers was on the way, allegedly in high speed hitting a tea garden worker there. After the vehicle hit the pedestrian, losing control, it plunged into a drain beside the road. Local people rushed to the vehicle to catch the people inside. CM appealed to flood-affected people to | AGARTALA, June 1 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday appealed to the people who are stranded in their homes due to flood water, to come out of their houses following the guidelines instructed by the administration. “Please follow the instructions and come out! Later, it might cause more problems. The same thing happened last year, too. So, I would request the people to take shelter in the relief camps,” said the CM. The Chief Minister was visiting the relief camps in Agartala along with officials, and also inspected the flood-affected areas in the city.
