KAILASHAR, Nov 7 (TIWN): Along with declaration of candidates for the AMC, Kailashahar and Kumarghat Municipal Council also announced the name of the candidate on Friday.

Among the 15 candidates who will fight for the Kailashahar Municipal Council, seven are new faces of the party. The names are Jhunu Debbarma (ward no.- 1), Nachiketa Goswami (ward no.- 2), Sufala Das (ward no.- 3), Sebashish Sen (ward no.- 4), Madhumita Roy (ward no.- 5), Kanti Lal Deb (ward no.- 6), Bhashkar Das (ward no.- 7), Anwara Begum (ward no.- 8), Manish Saha (ward no.- 9), Minati Bhattacharjee Banerjee (ward no.- 10), Anjan Roy (ward no.- 11), Surjendra Malakar (ward no.- 12), Pranati Dey Sen (ward no.- 13), Madhuri Malakar (ward no.- 14) and Bijoy Sinha (ward no.- 15).

The candidates of Gournagar Block are Ataur Rahman (ward no.- 5) and Sajed Ali (ward no.- 2). Besides, Nirali Bauri of ward no. 2/2 of Chandipur Block, Badal Deb (ward no.- 4) and Sushen Nama (ward no.- 5) of Chandipur Block.

Along with the announcement of the candidates of Kailashar Municipal Council the candidates also declared the name of the candidates of the Kumarghat unicipal Council. They are- Anamika Malakar (ward no.- 2), Sumit Choudhuri (ward no.- 3), Sabita Sinha (ward no.- 4), Sujit Deb (ward no.- 5), Anjali Das (ward no.- 6), Chumki Chakraborty (ward no.- 7), Moumita Chakma (ward no.- 8), Ratan Chakraborty (ward no.- 9), Dilip Ghosh (ward no.- 10), Nandu Lal Das (ward no.- 11), Sandha Das (ward no.- 12) and Asit Das (ward no.- 13).

Reportedly, the candidate of ward no.- 1 will declared later. Besides, Prafulla Sabdakar (ward no.- 3) of Gokulnagar Gram Panchayat under Kumarghat block and Ajit Sinha (ward no.- 3) of West Mashauli Village Panchayat under Kumarghat block will fight for the election.
