AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): With forceful hospitalization of Indian climate, engineer activist Sonam Wangchuk, who started a hunger strike following nation’s one of the biggest paper leaks claiming lives of students — protests erupted also in Agartala on Monday.

The agitators raised demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and in solidarity with Sonam Wangchuk and his fight against corruption. 

Talking to the media a youth explained he had to lie with his parents and he hid that he was coming to join paper-leak protests.

“Talking against the system is kind of inviting life-risks,” he said.

Protests erupted in Agartala over the paper-leak row, with demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and in solidarity with Sonam Wangchuk and his fight against corruption.

The protest took place in Agartala Circuit House in front of the Gandhi statue.
