KAMALPUR, Nov 6 (TIWN): As per the announced propaganda, Congress arranged for five hours seat and demonstration here at Kamalpur today. The program was arranged adjacent to Kamalpur Post Office.

Former MLA and District Congress President Manoj kanti Deb, Goutam Biswas, Advocate Bijoy Krishna Chatterjee remained present among others. Hundreds of workers gathered and took part in the program.

For a considerable period of time Congress party put forward the demands of public interest. But the State government remained deaf about those demands. To start operation of the Manikbhander airport; to include Kamalpur in the railway map of Tripura; to set up a central school here; to convert Kamalpur-Ambassa and Kumarghat-Kamalpur-Agartala roads into double lane remained some among the demands. The leadership made it clear that, the party would continue movement until the demands get fulfilled.
