Agartala, Sep1, (TIWN) Women are not lacking behind in any sector in this geographically small state.

Once again it has been proved via a blood donation camp where altogether 93 women donated blood. Participation of women in record numbers in blood donation, presently, is a wonderful sign towards the fact that the level of awareness is increasing day by day.

It was the programme of Dr. Montessori’s 143^rd Birth anniversary on Sunday, last, which the Montessori Teachers Training College organized. The organizers took no stone unturned and organized a blood donation camp. During the programme 93 trainee teachers of this College donated blood while Chief Minister Manik Sarkar remained present to inspire the donors.

It is mentionable here that state Chief Minister has immensely encouraged the blood donation camp throughout the state. The state is about to reach the mile stone of cent percent blood collection in near future for which the major credit goes to Mr. Sarkar.
