AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Mayor Dipak Majumder on Wednesday appealed for a “drug-free” Agartala city for the future generations.

The Mayor was addressing the Milan Chakra club at its new building inauguration event and said, “this city can be made plastic-free but making it drug-free once addiction is spread, it would be challenging.”

He requested the Milan Chakra club members to take good control against drug-abuses.

“Milan Chakra club is known for its good works. You have always been with the local community’s welfare,” Mayor said. “It will be my hope that this matter will also be taken care of.”
